IDEA works with partners and stakeholders to promote the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa. 

IDEA is a self-sustaining public-private partnered institution that is privately managed.

3 Interlinked Program Centers:

i) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center – that implements training, education and innovation hubs/incubators

ii) Digital Platform & Learning Centre – that serves as a one-stop-ICT platform for all IDEA learning and academies. It maintains thousands of accredited courses, virtual learning tools and networking platforms

IDEA Consultancy Centre – that operates an indigenous consultancy outfit that trains fellows, generates/analyses data to inform policy, advice governments, support public and private sector entities

Our Process

• The activities cover landscape analysis and data analytics, innovation value and supply chains, business development and plans, management, technology transfer and IP management, contracts and financing as well as regulatory and ethical processes associated with innovations. Training is aided by practical and virtual laboratories.

• IDEA implements short term training courses in the form of Continuing Education, Career Development and Executive Programs targeting individuals, officials and leaders from public and private sector, NGOs and informal sector entrepreneurs. Targeted degree and postgraduate programs will support the needs of existing universities.

• Suitable venture, endowments and impact financing partnerships are sort, to support and scale innovations emerging from within and outside IDEA
